ARTS HISTORY & MUSEUM :
Since my first experience of guiding in the Castle of Lourmarin and my studies at the University of Aix-en-Provence (1999), I have been fond of Art, History and everything linked to these activities.
I really love architecture; this is fascinating, for me, how human beings realized such impressive structures as Roman aqueducts, cathedrals…: it may come from my father who was a mason.
Fashion is not my favorite leisure but I am interesting in and I like to follow fashion.
WINE & GASTRONOMY :
I am not afraid to say that I am greedy, yes! Food and wine is a real pleasure for me, I love cooking and I have learned it from my mother who is Italian. I will be glad to tell you about traditional cooking of Provence, my favorite cooking!
Nature is something part of my life: I love hiking, walking and spending time in gardens, forest or the famous scrubland of Provence where I feel part of it!
HISTORY, HISTORICAL SITES & MONUMENTS :
In Provence, there are plenty of historical sites and monuments that I will be happy to make you discover: I love how they are linked to our history and traditions.
TRADITION & LOCAL HISTORY :
I was born and raised in Provence where our life is an integral part of culture and traditions. And I realized that it is part of me, when I lived in a foreign country.
VINTAGE FURNITURE & FLEA MARKET :
To stroll in the flea markets and to come across something you love it is so fun for me…
MODERN ART :
I am fond of Art such as Modern and Contemporary Art because I am interesting how other people think about our world, society and life…
OFF THE BEATEN TRACKS LOCAL SITES :
I know many of them because I have been used to take them from a long time thanks to my parents who used to bring me sightseeing when I was a child.
RELIGION, RELIGIOUS MONUMENTS :
Even if I am not a religious person, I am interesting in because religions make you understand life as religious Art: churches, chapels, cloisters and architecture, sculptures, paintings, stained glass windows tell how human being, during each period of our world, have thought about life.
TEENAGER FRIENDLY :
I began to work as a youth coordinator when I was 16 during summer vacation. I worked a lot with teenagers and I spent very good times with them.
CHILDREN FRIENDLY :
I really loved to spent time with them when I was a youth coordinator and when I was an “au pair girl” in USA. Today is the same! I like how they appreciate art, history, traditions…
GROUP FRIENDLY :
I work also for groups, even if it is different (we must compare like with like!). I love to spend time with people from all around the world, to exchange about our different way of life, and to give information about Provence where I was born: to show particularities of this region.
INDIVIDUALS FRIENDLY :
To spend time with individuals is so interesting, exciting! We may be closer and have longer and nice chats!
ELDERLY FRIENDLY :
I have been always close to the elderly thanks to my family, my parents used to bring me dance to clubs where they played accordion music (“musette”).
FAMILY FRIENDLY :
What a great time to spend time with families! To figure it out how I make happy all members of the family is a challenge, and I love challenge!
