Graduated since 7 years, I worked a lot to improve continually my knowlegdes thanks to my relationships, my books, and different meetings organized by the AGICA, a non-profit organization founded by local guides. It's a fascinating job !
Young, dynamic and epicurian, I love to meet people. It's as I was travelling too ! Vineyards are so famous that people are coming from everywhere. I share my experiences, and guide you through unmissable sites and on unbeaten tracks ! I have a really modern way to sense my job : a good tour has to be informative, and funny. And my experience made me realize that good holidays are holidays with good meetings too.
I remember my grandmother telling me her life in this old city named Bordeaux... It's certainly thanks to her that I decided to choose this job few years ago ! Thanks to my studies and searches, I learnt all histories of those monuments and streets that I saw and used since my birth. Squares, churches, avenues, and of course this Garonne river which was the first reason to create this town more than 2000 years ago... nothing is a secret for me. Bordeaux changes a lot today, and thanks to my young age, I felt and enjoyed all the modifications which have happened recently. Nowadays, Bordeaux is a kind of « the place to be », sometimes called « the little Paris », and we all are actors of this exciting project.
Step by step, the « sleeping beauty » is waking up ! A mix of old memories, and young ideas : creators, artists and chefs are investing our medieval streets. I'me crazy about flee markets, second hand shops, so if you need fashion tours, we should shop together... Needless to say that eating is one of our passion too, I will have some adresses for you.
Most of the time, when we say « Bordeaux », the firt image coming is a bottle. All the most famous names of the Bordeaux wine are located arround the city. Médoc, Saint Emilion, Sauternes, Pomerol,... Winetours represent a large part of my activity. Who visit Bordeaux visit a vineyard, and vice versa. I work a lot for wine tours companies. Regularly, I drive a minibus through the vineyards, presenting the most famous Grands Crus Classés (classified growth). Territories, architectures, grape varieties, purchasing advises... We can spend a week speaking about wines.
When you have visited the two famous areas, which are Bordeaux, and its vineyards, you should also discover the Atlantic coast and its different sea resorts, or the Landes forest, which is the largest artificial forest of western Europe. My grand-mother again, who took me on holidays everywhere near Bordeaux. Those areas are very famous for French people, and charm a tourist when he discover them. I'm an oyster lover, a hiker, a fan of incredible and colorfull landscapes, a foie gras eater, and of course a local woman who enjoy the most beautiful beaches and terrasses !
